More frustration caused by the rain for Thame 2nds, as they dominated the first half of their home game against Abingdon Vale 2nds. Asked to bat on a slow track, Thame were faltering at 45 for 3, but then Guy Holmes (65 not out) and Ed Barnett (53 not out, both pictured below) came together in an excellent, unbroken partnership of 114, taking Thame up to 170 for 3 off 44 overs, when rain ended the match for the day. The 2nd XI travel to Kingston Bagpuize on Saturday.
