Thame 1st XI were in a strong position last Saturday, when the rain came down at league leaders Horspath. Having been struggling at 48-5 when put in to bat, Thame recovered well to 199 all out. Good contributions from Honey Garg (55, pictured below) and Matt MacDonald (36) helped Thame to a respectable target. In response, after 4 overs Horspath were 12-2 and well behind on the “duckworth lewis” rate, but the rain then prevented further play. Thame entertain Cookham Dean at home at Church Meadow this coming Saturday 28th.
