Tim Dabbs Announced as New Chairman as Tervet Takes County Role

As many may already be aware; outgoing Thame Town Cricket Club Chairman, Pete Tervet has taken up the Chairman role at the Oxfordshire Cricket Board. Pete ‘Girders’ became Thame Chairman in 2022, taking over from Matt Swain, and has proven himself so adept in the role that the county came calling! Unable to fulfill both positions in tandem, Pete leaves Thame in role only, continuing to be a big presence around the club and representing on the field alongside his 3 children.

A huge thank you to Pete for all his efforts for the club as Chairman, and congratulations on securing this exciting position at Oxfordshire.

The club can now announce that the new Chairman will be Tim Dabbs! Tim has had a huge impact on the club in recent years, among many things; leading the creation of the 4th XI, organising the Saxons friendly side and contributing to the running of the Women’s team alongside partner Sarah Sanderson. Congratulations Tim!

    A Fabulous appointment.
    Well done to all concerned.
I have no doubt The Club will keep flourishing with Tim as Chairman
I know Sarah will be heavily involved too & I for one would like to thank her for all she’s done over the past few years.
