For the England Seniors team (Over-70s), the Ashes urn is coming back home after a convincing win over Australia on Tuesday, in Melbourne, in the third & decisive one-day international.
Australia batted first and tight bowling limited them to 159-9 from 50 overs, with Thame’s own Trevor Spindler (pictured below with the urn) bowling a miserly opening spell of 10-1-30-0. The touring side then knocked off 160-2 in just 41.4 overs, to win by 8 wickets and take the series!
