Thame Town Cricket Club is delighted to announce the return of Sri-Lankan all-rounder Dinushka ‘Dinny’ Malan, for the 2023 season.
The deal was agreed with Malan’s agency – CricX – late last year. Now, the rest of the process has been finalised and he’ll be landing in the UK on April 22nd.
Dinny first joined the club half way through the 2021 season, and more than impressed enough to return in 2022. In the 2022 season, he scored 526 runs at an average of 52.6, while taking 39 wickets at 13.74 for the Men’s 1st XI in the Home Counties Premier League Division 2. He also coaches the youth teams during the week, proving to be very popular with the players!
