The Thame cricket ground was a positive whirr of cleaning activity on Saturday 9th of this month,
with no less than 20 people (excluding Guy’s two boys) turning up to help tackle the list of jobs (11 appropriately) that needed doing ahead of the season’s opening.
A huge thanks to all those people for their time and effort, though it’s reported that Guy only picked up the broom for the camera. Thanks also to number 21, Jeffers, for coming along after his work shift to check that the skip was properly loaded. It all augurs well for the club this season.
