Thame Town Cricket Club (TTCC) successfully launched a second year of “All Stars Cricket”, last Friday (11th May) at Church Meadow in the centre of Thame.
All Stars Cricket is an ECB-led initiative, designed to be a fantastic, fun first-taste of the whole cricket experience for children, aged between 5 and 8. The club was heavily involved in the scheme’s inaugural season in 2017, which proved to be a huge success.
After Friday’s first session, the reactions of the children and parents were really positive and we’re told they can’t wait for week 2 of 8 to come around! Such was the race to sign up this year, the club’s All Stars group is already full, with almost 50 children taking part.
