The sun shone for most of the fortnight of the ever-popular Summer coaching courses that took place in the last week of July and first week of August.
With numbers of boys and girls up on last year, the club was able to call on no less than 11 different coaches and helpers, including one woman, to ensure a high level of fun and of quality cricket coaching, targeted at the different age-groups on the course, throughout the fortnight.
Master-minded by Sheena Beard, the club’s organiser of the Junior Section, the courses have been running successfully now for a decade and are one of the reasons why Thame CC is one of 3 clubs selected as centres of development in South Oxfordshire.
