Thame Women & Girls Indoor Cricket

crick-fit-tournament

The Women and Girls of Thame have already started their second season indoors!

The good news is that, after the successful “Crick-Fit” initiative that was launched in June last year in Thame,
there is no sign of the enthusiasm for cricket amongst local women and girls being diminished.

For the very first time they are able to prepare indoors for the coming of the next cricket season. Organised by Oxfordshire Cricket Board and Thame Cricket Club, with coaching led by George Setterfield, the indoor sessions started up at Lord Williams’s Upper School gym, on Thursday 3rd March.

All females from Thame and the surrounding area (including Tiddington and Haddenham) are invited to join in the sessions.

They run from 7.00 to 8.00 pm, every Thursday evening through until May 5th and are free-of-charge !
All new players will be very welcome. To find out more, just email Sheena Beard on sheenabeard@btinternet.com or come along on Thursday evenings in sports kit.
