It has been a brilliant season so far for Thame Town’s Under-13 cricket squad, mirroring the success of the same age-group in football for Thame FC.
They have already won the West division of the Aylesbury U13 League, with an unbeaten record of played 6, won 6, with the 7th match abandoned against MP Academy. The season has included wins against local rivals Aston Rowant and Haddenham, with the final win against Bledlow Village on July 4th (picture below).
The final of the competition, versus the winners of the East division, Dinton, will be a tough match and will take place this Wednesday 17th July, starting at 6pm.
The venue is Church Meadow, just a short walk from the centre of town, in the shadow of Thame’s fantastic new clubhouse and practice nets. The weather forecast is good and all support will be very welcome, with the bar also opening by 6pm!
