Thame Under 13s have had a highly successful campaign in the U13 section of the Aylesbury League this Summer. They won 6 out of 6 matches played in their West division, with just one falling victim to the weather, against MP. All of the 23 boys and girls eligible to play, played at least one match in this successful run, which took Thame to a final against the unbeaten winner of the East division, namely Dinton.
In an exciting final last Wednesday 17th, Dinton came out winners by 24 runs, in the high-scoring match, played at Thame. Credit and thanks go to the League for agreeing to change the venue to Thame, so as to avoid a long journey for all concerned, as well as for providing the winners’ trophy and medals for all the players.
