Last Sunday evening, the build-up to the 2017 season got under way for the men (over 16) at Lord Williams’ Lower School gym, with a promising turnout, well up on last year and including new recruits to the club. These net sessions will now run every Sunday, from 5.00 to 6.00 pm, through until April 9th, with the exception of February 12th, when there is a one-week break for half-term.
The mood for the new season is really positive within the club, with news of a new shirt sponsor, two new partnerships (of which more details to follow soon), a new range of kit and, of course, ongoing planning for a new clubhouse on Church Meadow.
