Last season was the most successful in the club’s history in terms of trophies, with the 1st team’s winning of the Cherwell League 1st Division, in an unbeaten season, capped off with victory in the Wilf Bennett Trophy in September.
They are now all set to return to the Home Counties Premier League, with their first game, at home, against Gerrards Cross on May 7th.
And let’s not forget the 3rd XI’s progress to the final of the Division 9 Cup competition last September.
Now there is a palpable sense of excitement around the club ahead of the new season, as players prepare indoors for next month. New players are always welcome, with different levels of ability spread across the three Saturday XIs.
